FlavourActiv Training Complete

We recently had 15 participants from our Renfrew & Dumbarton sites carry out FlavourActiv training.

The 3-day course was arranged in order to allow our new tasters to become trained and proficient in flavours, off-flavours and taints; in water; base vodka, gin, rum and whisky; and their equivalent final products.

As well as the main positive flavours, the 15 participants were introduced to the main off-flavours and taints;

• From water used in the dilution and blending process
• That can contaminate neutral alcohol (the base for vodka and gin)
• Derived from process and packaging
• Derived from cask maturation
• Congratulations to all of the team on successfully completing the course!
